Jessica Dalva

BAY AREA, CALIFORNIA

Bay area artist Jessica Dalva’s three-dimensional illustrations are microcosms in sculpture. Using epoxy and polymer clays with a variety of additional media such as vintage ephemera, fabric, mohair, beads, and natural found objects, Dalva masterfully manipulates material to express her own unique style of magical realism. Her intense commitment to every detail instills subtlety and nuance into each figure’s expressive pose, building intrigue and fantasy into every tiny world.

Dalva attended Otis College of Art and Design, graduating with Honors and a degree in Illustration. She has received numerous awards including a 2019 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, and she is a Silver Award Winner in the Spectrum Fantastic Art Book 25. In addition to exhibiting internationally, Dalva is one of the longest-exhibiting artists at Arch Enemy Arts. She has participated in more than twenty-five group shows and premiered in four solo features to-date.
