AS ABOVE, SO BELOW is a very special exhibition series that asks artists to challenge their concept of perspective through new works created as ambigrams - artworks that are able to be rotated on the wall and viewed from different orientations. Whether through spinning or flipping, each piece is meant to maintain its visual integrity from multiple angles. Some artists have created pieces mounted on rotating mechanisms, while others have made works that can be flipped 180º like a playing card.
With each piece having the ability to be displayed on the wall in multiple ways, we like to consider the works in this show a unique opportunity for collectors to own a piece that's like having two pieces in one. ​
