Shelby Clark

FLORIDA

Shelby Clark-Glass (b. 1998) is a sculptor creating intimate and narrative-driven work that draws from a whimsical sense of wonder for the natural world. Through delicately crafted forms, meticulous attention to texture, and strong storytelling sensibilities, Clark-Glass explores authenticity, emotion, and the complexities of life through animal symbolism, imbuing each piece with the feeling of a self-contained tale.

Originally from Mississippi, Clark-Glass earned her BA in English Literature from Flagler College in 2020 with Minors in Environmental Science and Creative Writing; she is a published poet and is largely self-taught in her fine art practice. Clark-Glass has exhibited across the US and was a finalist in the 2023 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize. She began showing with Arch Enemy Arts in 2022 after submitting to our Spotlight Showcase and has since participated in nearly a dozen group shows to-date.
