Scott Kirschner

PHILADELPHIA

Scott Kirschner creates hauntingly beautiful illustrative narratives in a variety of media. Using surreal imagery and extraordinary characters, he gorgeously renders dark themes and current events with curiosity and magic. The emotive and provocative nature of his work beckons viewers to investigate our own emotions and beliefs, jarring our subconscious and unsettling our complacency.

Kirschner studied at Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia and is recognized as one of the founding artists for the “Magic: The Gathering” trading card series. He began exhibiting with Arch Enemy Arts in 2013 and has shown with the gallery almost every year since, hosting three solo exhibitions to-date.

SOLO EXHIBITIONS:

  • “Inner Wasteland” (October 2016)

  • “Transgressions of Conscience” (July 2015)

  • "My Famine" (2013)
