Molly Devlin
SACRAMENTO, CA
Molly Devlin is a contemporary surrealist painter currently living and working in Sacramento but originally from Eastern Pennsylvania. Her artworks explore the relationship between humans and nature, with intricate dreamscapes featuring bizarre mutations of earthly beings. Drawing inspiration from her love of nature, Devlin's paintings are vibrant displays of the secrets of the animal kingdom, showing how different species relate, resemble, and morph into one another. By using a mixture of painting mediums and techniques, Devlin creates ethereal and fantastical creatures that exist beyond known reality.
In addition to gallery-scale work, Devlin has created site-specific installations as well as public murals. Since 2021, she has appeared in multiple group shows at Arch Enemy Arts and hosted her first solo feature with the gallery in 2022.
