Jon Ching
LOS ANGELES, CA
A self-taught painter originally from Kaneohe, Hawaii, Jon Ching creates stunningly surreal and highly realistic artworks that explore the interconnectedness of nature. His meticulous attention to detail, vibrant color palette, and lifelike depictions allow viewers to experience the unlikely harmony, magic, and fragility of the natural world as he implores viewers to contemplate our own place within it.
Ching’s background is in mechanical engineering with a degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Internationally exhibited and collected, Ching also partners with environmental organizations to support fundraising and educational efforts. After submitting to our 2018 Spotlight Showcase, Arch Enemy Arts has proudly exhibited Ching’s work in numerous group shows every year since.
