Haley Manchon

PHILADELPHIA, PA

Local artist Haley Manchon creates surreal portraiture and figurative drawings that explore themes of isolation, self-reflection, recurring episodic characters, and the shifting nature of identity. Using transposed elements and repeating patterns, often working on both sides of layered, translucent Dura-Lar, Manchon’s work is soft and delicately rendered, creating forms that seem  to emerge and dissolve in psychological layers.

Haley Manchon (b. 1996) received her BFA from MICA in 2018 and has since exhibited internationally and received multiple esteemed prizes for her works on paper. She is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and began showing with Arch Enemy Arts in 2020 after submitting to our Spotlight Showcase. We look forward to her first solo debut later this year.
