Grelin Machin

Grelin Machin paints nostalgia with a whimsical and surreal story-book style. Working primarily in acrylic on wood, her paintings belong to worlds of vibrant color, inhabited by odd characters, playful creatures, and retro ephemera. Viewing her work is like tumbling through a dream set in simpler times.

Based in Montreal, Machin holds a degree in graphic design, and her work has been featured in numerous print publications. Machin began exhibiting with Arch Enemy Arts in 2017 after applying to our Spotlight Showcase, and she has participated in group shows with the gallery every year since.
