Darla Jackson

PHILADELPHIA, PA

Celebrated Philadelphia artist, Darla Jackson, is best known for creating realistic animal sculptures posed to suggest emotional narratives. Her work is constantly evolving, but its driving force stays the same as she aims to explore the human psyche through recognizable visual objects and symbols.

Jackson graduated from Moore College of Art & Design Summa Cum Laude and is a two-time recipient of the Knight Foundation Arts Grant. She has been featured on Beautiful Bizarre Magazine’s top 100 sculptors list, is exhibited internationally, and currently teaches at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Jackson has participated in countless shows with Arch Enemy Arts since 2014, including a collaborative feature with Paul Romano.
