Born in southwest Virginia and currently residing in Johnson City, Tennessee, Brian Serway holds a deep passion for the natural world. Captivated by the Blue Ridge Mountains, Serway illustrates the magical apparitions, memories, and ghosts that inhabit the ethereal and deeply mysterious creatures of Appalachia, the region’s mysticism, and folklore. Serway has been showing with Arch Enemy Arts since submitting to the gallery’s 2020 Open Call Showcase, contributing to numerous group shows as well as solo feature exhibitions.
