Sean Patrick Hannaway

Painter Sean Hannaway combines High Renaissance subjects with layers of graffiti aesthetics, bold colors, and hints of modern day life. His work is dynamic, intense, and maximalist as he “tags” every inch of every piece, including their rococo-style frames.
Sean Hannaway graduated from Northern Illinois University and, in addition to exhibiting, he works as a VP Creative Director for Ninendo at Leo Burnett Chicago. Hannaway began exhibiting with Arch Enemy Arts in 2022 after submitting to our Spotlight Showcase, and we celebrate his first solo feature with the gallery in May 2023.
