Arch Enemy Arts is pleased to present: NEON, an exquisite new series by Texas artist Manuel Zamudio. A display of 5 new original and electric artworks, Manuel jolts his viewers with exceptional, vibrant color ranges through the medium of oil paint.

 

Displaying a style that he calls post-apocalyptic realism, NEON borders the psychedelic, with sharp temperature shifts, bold values, and punchy highlights that push the eye to full capacity. A cinematic quality that is near vibrational, Zamudio’s skill isn’t just bombast. Exalting a strict and compelling attention to texture and form, his technique further propositions one to believe the photographic intensity that he places on full exhibition.

 

Believing that practice makes perfect, Manuel has rapidly developed his impressive style beginning in 2019. Inspired to make a series within a shared universe, NEON depicts five characters in the reflective glow of city lights, all chromatically encased in the artist’s hand painted frames.

NEON is Manuel Zamudio’s first solo feature with Arch Enemy Arts following his inclusion in numerous group exhibitions since 2021.
