Arch Enemy Arts is excited to announce “A Way Home” by Craww, a solo exhibition of twelve new graphite pieces inspired by the changed world we have found ourselves in over the past two years. The artist writes, “as we are surrounded by unfamiliar experiences and with an uncertain future, ‘A Way Home’ is a collection about finding a way back to the things that are important to you.”

 

Living on the edge of the Peak District in the UK and surrounded by hills, woods and open moorland, Craww’s work reflects an ongoing fascination with the natural world and the relationships we have with it. His work creates narratives that are drawn from the beauty to be found in contradictions and ambiguity—life and death, beauty and decay, strength, fragility, the interplay between conflicting and complementing forces of nature and the constructs that mark our passing.

 

Through these twelve new pieces, a narrative unfolds of friends, lovers and guides offering threads of hope. They show us ways of navigating a shifting landscape, through woods and forest, across marshland and rivers, to once again find comfort and connection.

This is Craww's second solo exhibition at Arch Enemy Arts.

A WAY HOME will be physically on view from July 9th - July 31st, 2021.
Sold works will begin to ship the week of August 9th unless other rush shipping arrangements have been made.
