Erich J. Moffitt

Erich J. Moffitt is a painter, freelance illustrator and jewelry maker, who grew up in Europe and currently works in the Pacific Northwestern United States. His whimsical, brightly colored paintings are like modern translations of Romantic-era storybooks, clearly inspired by late-nineteenth century art and culture though compositionally constructed in a way that feels totally “today.”
Moffitt studied Illustration and Art HIstory at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and his work has been exhibited and collected worldwide. Arch Enemy is proud to have displayed the artist's work in nearly twenty shows since 2014, with Moffitt’s second solo feature appearing in 2023.​​
