Alexander Reisfar
PORTLAND, OR
Alex Reisfar creates soulful, symbolic paintings that explore death, destruction, and the human experience. Dark and foreboding yet deeply alluring, his work implores viewers to consider humanity’s fragile state of chaos, the tragedy of our ruin, and the potential beauty held within the recesses of demise.
Reisfar is self-taught and based in the Pacific Northwest. He has created artwork for such notable bands as Mastodon, Opeth, and Tool, and during his tenure with the Davis Mural Team, he created numerous murals along the Western United States. Reisfar began showing with Arch Enemy Arts in 2022 and hosted his first solo feature with the gallery in 2023.
