COLORADO
3rd Version (aka Ben Patterson) is a Colorado-based painter whose distinctive style marries highly-rendered and realistic animals with graphic, two-dimensional scenes or embellishments. The artist coins his signature style “highlow” art, explaining that his aim is to “[blend] the lines between high realism and lowbrow art” challenging viewers’ expectations through surprising and playful juxtapositions. 3rd Version has been showing with Arch Enemy Arts since submitting to our 2017 Open Call, and his work has become a staple to our gallery ever since.​
